It’s morning. Sun is up. You’ve checked your social media, all the notifications, and messages. Time to get up and start your day.
Begin with a simple CTM rule, i.e., Cleansing-Toning-Moisturizing.
Apply a foam based cleanser, massage gently on your face and neck, leave for 5 seconds then wash it off. This will ensure that all the dirt, grime and oil secretions are stripped off from your face, without over drying it.
Now, if you want to scrub you can. Just use one made for a daily purpose. Scrubbing your face twice or thrice a week works fine, too. Exfoliate to reveal a squeaky clean face. Don’t forget to scrub your lips. Simply massage with a soft-bristled toothbrush then apply a lip balm.
Toner is important if you want clearer, firmer, and glowing skin. Most people don’t realize it and skip this step. It not only unclog pores but also shrinks it. Toners restore your skin’s pH balance after you’ve cleansed. Start using and see the difference for yourself. Rose water is a nice option for amateurs. Either apply with a cotton ball or pour some on your palm and dab on your face gently with your fingertips. Let it dry and continue with a moisturizer.
Use a moisturizer according to your skin type and the weather. It’s a common myth that oily or acne prone skin doesn’t need moisturizing. Even if you have oily or combination skin, you should use a gel-based moisturizer. It’s lightweight and non-greasy. People with dry to normal skin can use créme based face cream.
Moisturizer acts as a barrier for your skin while providing proper hydration. Rub some between your fingertips to warm it. This will ensure that it reaches deep inside your pores. Then apply in a circular-upwards motion to increase blood flow and minimize puffiness. Say goodbye to the dull and flaky skin.

Never step out without it, regardless of the weather. NEVER. The Sun is doing its job, so should you. Keep one in handy and reapply every 3-4 hours if necessary.
You’ve rocked your day and most probably you are very tired. But don’t forget to wash your face and remove your makeup before hitting the bed. Pour some coconut oil on a cotton pad and use it to remove kajal, mascara, lipstick etc. Then wash your face with a cleanser.
Take a few drops of sweet almond oil and apply it gently around your eyes. It will minimize the appearance of dark circles. Then pour a few more drops and apply all over your face and neck while massaging in a circular upward motion until your skin has completely absorbed it. Now, if you want you can add some essential oils into it like rose and lemon. Rose oil will take care of the glow while lemon essential oil will help diminishing pigmentation. I’ve personally made a concoction of almond oil, olive oil, rose essential oil, and lemon essential oil. Use it religiously before bed. It takes time but always works.
